For our client, a well reputed Audit & Accounting Firm, we are looking for an Senior Legal Compliance specialist to join and lead their team in Limassol. 

This is a mid size company with approx. 30 employees in Limassol.

Job Duties

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

A Required Lawyer to cover the legal part of the companies business and supervise the compliance team of 2 persons.

Report directly to the Owner / MD.

Ensure compliance with AML and Sanctions legislation and carry out due diligence on clients.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

At least 2 - 3 years’ experience at a reputed law firm, or as an in-house lawyer at an established company,

Professional level of Greek and English (both legal and business level, especially in writing); other languages are an advantage

Proven experience with negotiating and drafting commercial agreements

Patience, professionalism, great attention to detail

The ability to work under pressure, and multitask

Ability to work independently
