Head of Accounting (VAC-A3408)

Job description

Our client is an International Investment Firm who is looking for a Head of Accounting to be based in Limassol.

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update accounting records using accounting software.

Perform bank and other account reconciliations.

Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation.

Prepare VAT returns.

Produce ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.

Provide administrative support to the accounting team and other departments as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Liaise with external tax consultants for transfer price study preparation and CIT calculation

Regular update of inter group loan portfolios

Liaise with IT consultants on improving accounting system

Liaise with corporate administrators, clients, auditors and tax authorities.

Assist junior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and review their work

Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Previous experience over 5 years in a similar role is mandatory.

Good command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer skills.

Knowledge of 1C accounting system will be advantage

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and work ethics.

Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to learn and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
