Job description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to drive our business growth in Cyprus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling solar and wind energy solutions, with excellent knowledge of the Cypriot renewable energy market. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to expand our customer base for photovoltaic farm construction, residential solar installations, and wind energy projects on the island.
Job Duties
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for solar and wind energy solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including property developers, businesses, and government entities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for photovoltaic and wind energy installations
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals for potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Collaborate with project management and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of sold solutions
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and renewable energy regulations in Cyprus
- Represent LIGHTHIEF at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management
- Develop strategies to promote LIGHTHIEF's maintenance and service offerings
Job Requirements
- Experience in the renewable energy sector, specifically in sales of solar and/or wind energy solutions
- Experience with construction and maintenance of photovoltaic installations and wind farms in the Cypriot market is highly desirable
- Strong passion for learning and developing within the renewable energy industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent understanding of the technical aspects of photovoltaic and wind energy systems
- Knowledge of the Cypriot energy market, including regulations and incentives
- Network of contacts within the Cypriot energy sector
- Fluency in both English and Greek is mandatory
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong presentation and proposal writing abilities
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to understand client needs
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (degree in Renewable Energy is a plus)
