R&D Manager for Online Casino Platform - Fully Remote (VAC-A3329)

Our client is a fast-growing B2B2C company, within the iGaming industry and they are looking to onboard a R&D Manager for Online Casino Platform which is Fully Remote.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead the development of our online casino platform. You will oversee a team of frontend and backend developers, driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions tailored for B2B clients.

Your expertise in building and managing casino platforms will be key in shaping the technological backbone of our business.

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and mentor a cross-functional team of 10-15 developers (frontend, backend, QA, project managers).

Oversee the end-to-end development of the casino platform, from concept to deployment.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

Ensure platform compliance with industry standards and regulations for online gaming.

Drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture, coding, and testing.

Identify and implement new technologies to enhance platform functionality and performance.

Conduct regular code reviews, team performance evaluations, and skill development initiatives.

Maintain a deep understanding of B2B client needs in the iGaming industry and adapt solutions accordingly.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven track record (7+ years) in developing online casino platforms, particularly for B2B markets.

Leadership: At least 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional development teams of similar size.

Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of frontend and backend technologies, including but not limited to:

Backend: Node.js.

Frontend: Angular or similar frameworks.

Database: Relation DBs (MySQL, PostgreSQL), MongoDB, Redis, Elastic search

Cloud Platforms: AWS

DevOps practices: CI/CD, orchestration, monitoring, performance, etc.

Languages: Fluency in Ukrainian / Russian an advantage.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with gaming regulations and compliance requirements in key markets.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
