Job Duties
Responsibilities at the Culture and PR Section of the Embassy include:
(1) Organizing and managing cultural events: communicate with external stakeholders, collect and assess information.
(2) Management of the Embassy’s SNS (Facebook and Instagram).
(3) Responsible for government and other scholarships and invitation programmes: handle enquiries for universities and scholarships in Japan, assist screenings of candidates for the government scholarship and invitation programmes.
(4) Design and production of publicity materials (posters, stills on SNS, etc.) for the Embassy related events.
(5) Other tasks required by the Embassy, such as assisting other departments in the Embassy when necessary.
Job Requirements
Essential
(1) A bachelor’s degree
(2) Good knowledge and skills of photography and videography as well as other gadgets commonly used for public relations and event management.
(3) Excellent knowledge and skills in the operation of SNS (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
(4) Highly motivated to work at the Embassy, with professional attributes (a diligent work ethic, efficient multi-tasking skills, and responsibility on given tasks).
(5) Excellent command of English and Greek language.
(6) Has a long-term residence status with a valid work permit.
(7) Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point etc.).
Desirable
(1) University level studies related to multicultural understandings and/or public relations.
(2) Experience in multi-cultural event organization and management.
(3) Strong interest in and knowledge of Japanese culture and society.
(4) Knowledge of Japanese university system and scholarships.
(5) Be able to start from 10th March 2025 (Start date is subject to negotiation).
(6) Knowledge of Japanese language (non - mandatory)
Job Benefits
Work schedule (days and hours)
• Monday – Friday: 8:15 to 16:45 or 8:30 to 17:00 (Lunch break: 12:30 - 13:15)
• (Holidays: Saturday and Sunday / other holidays up to 20 days determined by the Embassy.)
Salary
• Around 2,000 EUR – 2,500 EUR (Gross per month)
*Salary will be determined based on your experience.
