Compliance Officer (VAC-A3076)

Job description

Our client, an FX Trading Company, based in Limassol, is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Compliance Officer to join their team. 

Job Duties

• Design Company’s Policies and procedures related to compliance and AML matters
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies
• Maintain the corporate Code of Conduct policies and practices
• Give guidance for corrective measures where necessary and inform the Head of Department
• Respond to any Compliance inquires
• Identify practical solutions to Regulatory Compliance issues or threats posed to the business
• Prepare new and/or update existing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with rules and regulations
• Enforce organization standards, policies and procedures
• Analyse regulatory developments, new compliance legislation and market developments and prepare proposals for management review.
• Assist in compliance risk assessment process ensuring that all compliance risks are appropriately identified, assesses, reported and monitored.
• Performing compliance reporting to ensure that that reporting obligations are fulfilled
• Assisting in conducting internal audits
• Performing KYC review and risk assessments on potential clients
• Other duties as reasonably directed by the CEO or delegate.  

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services or fintech industry.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain compliance requirements clearly.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.

Fluency in English, both verbal and written; additional languages will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm (onsite)
