Audit Assistant Manager (VAC-A2856)

Job description

Our client, a leading firm of accounting and management consultancy company cater for both local and international companies and clients, is looking for an ambitious individual for the position of Assistant Audit Manager to join their offices in Nicosia.

Job Duties

• Undertake and manage portfolio for audit work with full ownership and independency
  
  Participate in various stages of audits, analytical reviews, budgeting, planning, working papers, correspondence, financial statement preparation, disclosures and assist in administrative functions as assigned
  
  Assignment of work as appropriate
  
  Monitor and provide feedback on the job and report back to the director
  
  Review the work of senior and junior staff and provide constructive and detail review points
  
  Mentor, train, support and supervise senior and junior staff, provide feedback on the spot
  
  Effective communication with clients and associates
  
  Identify any potential problems or opportunities for improvement in client’s systems, procedures or operations and make suggestions
  
  Involve in company’s special projects
  
  
  

Job Requirements

University degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or other related field (University of Cyprus graduates with at least 7.50/10, UK University graduates with at least 2:1 or other Universities graduates with at least 3.33)

ACCA/ACA qualified

Experience: at least 8+ years

Excellent command of Greek and English (both verbal and written)

Computer literate/Excellent knowledge of MS Office

Excellent knowledge of audit program/software

Excellent communication and team work skills

Excellent analytical and organizational skills

Ability to work under pressure

Resourceful and proactive

Excellent Training/mentoring/coaching skills

Excellent Management and leadership skills

Quality & Ethics oriented

Up-to-date in all Audit, IFRS, software and other legislative or other related issues
