Senior Financial Accountant (VAC-A2772)

Job description

Our client is a leading adult entertainment social platform and they are looking to recruit and experienced Senior Financial Accountant who will report directly to the Head of Finance for their offices in Nicosia. 

Job Duties

• Bookkeeping and preparation of accounting records in accordance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and error-free reporting
• Bank reconciliations and review of payment provider transactions
• Payables control duties such as but not limited to invoice processing and creator payouts.
• Assistance in the preparation and filing of income tax and VAT/sales tax returns
• Assistance in the external audit process and preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory financial statements
• Communication with internal and external stakeholders, as needed
• Compliance with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures and agreed operational and control processes.

Job Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualification (no post-qualification experience required)
• University Degree in Accounting/Finance related field
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of English language (speaking and writing)
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passion for continuous learning and development
• Previous experience with big four accountancy and audit firms will be considered an advantage

Job Benefits

• Salary range 32-35k (over 12 salaries) with frequent salary reviews
• Work between Monday to Friday with flexible arrival and departure times
• 21 days annual leave (excluding public holidays)
