Head of Compliance (VAC-A2683)

Job description

Our client, a CySEC regulated and licensed Fintech Start-up based in Limassol is looking for a Head of Compliance to join their growing team in Limassol.

Job Duties

• To monitor on a permanent basis and to assess, on a regular basis, the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures, policies and procedures put in place, and the actions taken to address any deficiencies in the firm’s compliance with its obligations.
• Timely submission of all relevant reports to CySEC and preparation of the Annual and periodic Compliance Report, AML Report etc.
• Report to MOKAS any suspicious transactions identified in due course.
• Examining, evaluating and promptly responding to Customer complaints.
• Thorough review of the company’s website in terms of content, risk disclaimers and legal documents and any marketing material.
• Develop compliance training materials and perform regular training to the employees.

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years in a similar role.
• Advance and AML Certificates from CySEC.
• Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level or the equivalent in Law.
• Must be able to work under high pressure.
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• Highly approachable, trustworthy.

Working hours:

Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00
