Job description

The company provides management services to international real estate developers and investors who focus on the UK market and they have their financial headquarters in Nicosia. They provide all back-office services for bookkeeping, accounting, financial control, banking activities, HR, payroll, finance and support for funding applications, overheads management and company secretarial services to a wide range of clients based in Cyprus and UK. They are looking for a Qualified Accountant.

Job Duties

• The role will be to assist the CFO and be responsible for the preparation, review and submission of financial records, management reports, financial statements and consolidated financial statements for group companies.
  
• Part of the duties will be liaising with auditors and tax advisors, as well as ensuring the ERP system is fully reconciled.
  
• The senior financial accountant will have a team of up to 5 people to manage, and will be responsible for training and utilising the resources to aid in the preparation and submission of the reports.
  

Job Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or similar qualification
  
• Demonstrable experience as an accountant in property investment applying IAS40 and IFRS15
  
• Demonstrable strong Excel skills, including, but not limited to, table reference using references such as [field] and [@field], and specific formulas such as index/match, eomonth, sumifs and nested if statements.
  
• Strong command of English
  
  Working hours:
  
  The working hours are 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday, with an hour lunch break (onsite)
