SOFT-impact LTD is a Maritime Software Vendor based in Cyprus delivering Business Applications (web & mobile) to the Maritime industry. We develop SW products for the industry and partner with our customers from initial consulting, to configuration, to training and to management of the implemented solution, allowing our customers to concentrate on their core business. You will be joining a team dedicated to implementing Innovative IT solutions for the maritime industry with the goal of making processes more efficient and more effective.

What You’ll Do

As a software engineer at SOFT-impact, you will be part of the team that designs and implements our Fleet Management Suite, which is cloud based platform. You will work with product owners and technical leads to continuously evolve our suite of products and services without sacrificing quality.

Our Tech-Stack

Front-end knowledge in web client technologies - JavaScript frameworks (such as React/Angular/Ember)
Back-end knowledge in Python and related frameworks (such as Flask, Django, bottle)

Job Duties

• Designing, implementing, testing and validating web applications using Python for backend and SPA JavaScript frameworks.
• Taking part in the agile development full cycle of project development.
  
• Collaborate with product owners regarding the development of new features.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  
• Knowledge in Python and related frameworks (such as Flask, Django, bottle)
  
• Knowledge in web client technologies and front-end JavaScript frameworks (such as React/Angular/Ember)
  
• Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
