Claims Handler

Job description

Euro-Center Cyprus; arranging medical assistance for travellers is looking for a claims handler to work full-time Monday to Friday. Can be based anywhere in Cyprus. The candidate must be highly motivated, looking to learn, and have good attention to detail. Must be an extrovert, with excellent communication. Needing to have excellent English and Greek, spoken and written language skills. No experience is needed, but dedication, good IT skills, and common sense are essential.

Job Duties

• Handling tasks set in the Euro-Center global platform, to arrange appointments for travellers with medical facilities within the Euro-Center network.
• Handling emergency cases such as road accidents in other countries, getting immediate medical help from local hospitals, again in Euro-Center network, handling hotel bookings for family members, and obtaining medical reports for Euro-Center in house medical team.
• Chasing invoices from medical providers to be audited in house and then processing the invoices for payment. 

Job Requirements

• Must be motivated and looking for more than just a job.
• Being part of an out of hours 'on call rota'; being the 1st point of contact for 1 week out of 3, for the the Euro-Center call centers when emergency information or actions are needed.
• Understanding urgency, ability to prioritise and ability to handle time sensitive tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining professional and calm.
• Having a friendly professional voice as much of the work is by telephone.
• Being highly organised and able to work on multiple tasks at the same time. 
• Must have either English or Greek as native language and excellent written and verbal skills in the other. 
• Excellent IT skills, especially enjoying working with figures and how to work in excel using pivot tables etc.
• Having good attention to detail.
• Understanding the confidentiality that surrounds patient medical history.
