About the company

McDonald´s™ Restaurants in Cyprus are operating under the name of Family Restaurants Andreou Co. Ltd. Michalis Andreou, Franchisee and Managing Director, graduated from Dianellios School in Larnaca, specializing in Hotel Management. He served his military duties and worked in Famagusta until the Turkish Invasion in 1974. Michalis emigrated to Wurzburg, Germany and started working with McDonald´s™ as part-time, whilst studying the German language and business administration. In 1981 he opened his first McDonald´s™ restaurant in Konstanz. In 1990 a second restaurant was opened and the following year he opened a third, a drive-thru in Singen.
