Our client is a global consulting and advertising company that specializes in providing web advertising, web development and consulting services to the fintech, Forex , Payment services and media industries and the opportunity has become available as my client looks to recruit a Japanese Speaking Financial Content Writer (Forex)/ SEO Marketing Specialist and who is able to work fully remote from anywhere in the world within the digital marketing / editorial team of the Japanese media site.

One of the web media sites operated by the company's advertising division provides several solutions necessary for the world's leading fintech companies to carry out marketing activities aimed at strengthening their competitiveness, specializing in the FX market. 

In addition, the site provides services such as web advertising, digital media operation services, customer support, content production for financial and economic education, and economic news production for those who lack knowledge or feel psychological anxiety about investing and trading. 

Job Overview:

As a content writer for fintech and FX media, you will be responsible for enhancing the company's Japanese media site by editing and producing web content, creating landing pages, providing guides for fintech and FX companies' services, writing blog articles and financial education content, conducting SEO (search engine optimization), social media management and content marketing support. 

You can work flexibly while deepening your knowledge of finance! 

You will be creating content about multiple fintech companies, introductory content on trading, economic news, and financial education content, so you can deepen your knowledge of finance through your work. Job Duties

Duties:

Support the Japanese team with all types of web writing including providing information about and creating usage guides for various fintech companies, writing about recent announcements, creating featured articles, blog posts, FAQs, trading and financial education content for beginners up to professional traders, financial glossaries, economic news, campaign & promotions development for the company's Japanese media site.

Support the Japanese team with research and analysis of services related to fintech and FX companies, the creation of evaluation guides for products and services, and provide support in the creation of landing pages and spec pages to increase website traffic.

Adjust and optimize new and existing content to rank higher in Google search results.

Regularly perform content maintenance and updates, improve content layout, review SEO measures, and aim for smooth content operation.

Conduct keyword research, implement SEO best practices, generate new web traffic, generate new content ideas, optimize existing content, and uncover new content opportunities that will increase awareness of our brand and our partner brands.

Research and implement content creation recommendations for organic SEO success. Gain personal SEO expertise and aim for a high ranking on all search engines.

Support the Japanese team in managing posts and pages using WordPress

Manage social media posts, accounts, and communities

Assist in creating weekly and or daily FX news and analysis (depending on financial knowledge and experience)

Assist in creating and updating campaigns, promotions, and blog content

Identify and suggest new avenues of content creation that will help increase our brand awareness and website traffic

Opportunity to gain experience in basic customer support tasks, supporting customers, and responding to customer inquiries via email (possible after several years of work, but not required for this position) 

Job Requirements

Application Requirements:

Fluent Japanese language skills are essential (native language abilities)

FX market (foreign exchange margin trading) / experience in the financial industry / financial background (those with deep knowledge of FX will be given preference!)

Experience as a content writer, in a writing or marketing is essential (those with 3+ years of experience as a FX/financial content writer will be given preference!)

Experience creating written content on personal blogs, SNS, etc.

Bachelor's degree in advertising, media, finance, or other related field

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or other related field (highly preferred)

Additional Bachelor of Science in finance, business administration/economics, or other related field (highly preferred, not required)

Experience publishing high-quality content on multiple digital channels

Knowledge and experience in SEO (search engine optimization) and advertising (highly preferred)

PC skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs, Slides, Spreadsheets, Drive and Forms, etc. are essential

Experience in a content management system like WordPress (highly preferred, not required)

Preferred experience and skills:

FX / investment related web writer

Experience writing financial articles

FX trading experience or experience working in the FX / financial / Crypto industry

Financial qualifications welcome

SEO writing experience

Deep insight into global affairs

Experience using Google Analytics / Google Search Console / Heatmaps

Experience submitting content to WordPress

Media advertising experience

Graphic design knowledge and skills – knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, etc. (advantageous, not required)

Employment type:

Freelancer / independent contractor (A monthly salary will be paid, just like a regular full-time job!)

We are looking for candidates who are looking for a long-term commitment. We take into consideration future retention rates, such as whether the candidate can contribute to the company in the long term and whether they tend to change jobs frequently.

Working hours:

Ideally 8 hours a day (including 60 minutes of break)

It is possible conclude an independent contractor contract for a minimum of 5 hours a day (monthly salary will be adjusted according to the desired working hours)

Flexible start and end times

Number of working days:

Ideally 5 days a week (Monday to Friday)

Minimum 4 days a week is possible depending on the candidate's working situation

Work period:

Immediate to indefinite

Trial period of 3 months 

Job Benefits

Salary:

Monthly salary of USD 2,000-2,500 (negotiable depending on experience and working hours)

Annual salary may increase depending on performance and review!

Year-end bonus depending on performance!
