Head of Finance and Treasury

Job description

We seek a Head of Finance and Treasury to oversee liquidity, compliance, and financial strategy. Ideal for a hands-on leader with treasury, accounting, and transaction expertise in CFD brokerage or fintech. Responsibilities include cash flow, banking, PSPs, and regulatory compliance, while building a scalable financial structure. This key role offers the chance to shape strategy, grow a finance team, and build the department from the ground up.

Job Duties

• Oversee external accountants for payroll, taxes, and social insurance.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax laws.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Manage liquidity across PSPs and banks, ensuring efficiency and risk control.

• Oversee reconciliation of bank, PSP, and trading platform balances.

• Open and maintain bank and PSP accounts with Legal and Payments teams.

• Oversee invoice payments, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

• Verify and negotiate contract financial terms for cost efficiency.

• Manage accounts receivable and payable to maintain cash flow.

• Establish and enforce financial policies, controls, and procedures.

• Lead budgeting, supporting financial planning and cost control.

• Oversee compliance with financial regulations, audits, and capital adequacy.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in finance, treasury, or accounting roles, within a CFD brokerage, fintech, or financial services industry.

• Strong knowledge of liquidity management, PSPs, and banking operations.

• Experience with regulatory compliance in financial reporting, capital adequacy, and audits.

• Leadership experience in structuring and growing a finance team.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• English - Upper-Intermediate or Advanced. Russian or Ukrainian - fluent.
