Regulatory Compliance Officer (Russian-speaking) (VAC-A3117)

Job description

Our client, a Fintech company in Limassol, is looking to recruit an experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer.

Job Duties

Regulatory Liaison:

Serve as the primary point of contact with CySEC and other regulatory bodies;

Maintain strong relationships with regulatory authorities and stay informed of any changes in regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Assessment and Implementation:

Evaluate newly published CySEC announcements, circulars, directives, and laws for their applicability to the company's activities;

Ensure timely implementation of relevant regulatory changes within the company.

Reporting Obligations:

Prepare and submit all required reports to CySEC in compliance with CIF obligations;

Ensure accurate and timely reporting under MIFIR, EMIR, and SFTR regulations.

Policy and Procedure Monitoring:

Assess and ensure that company policies and procedures are adequate to detect any risk of non-compliance with regulatory obligations;

Ensure that these policies and procedures are established, implemented, maintained, and regularly reviewed;

Consider the nature, scale, and complexity of the company’s business and the range of investment services and activities undertaken.

Compliance Monitoring Program:

Develop, construct, and execute the Compliance Monitoring Program;

Regularly review and update the program to address any changes in regulatory requirements or business activities.

Training and Awareness:

Prepare and conduct compliance training sessions for employees;

Ensure that all employees are aware of and comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations;

Maintain records of training sessions and attendance.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Regulatory Compliance Officer or similar role;

In-depth knowledge of CySEC regulations and reporting requirements;

Strong understanding of MIFIR, EMIR, and SFTR reporting obligations;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Ability to interpret and implement regulatory requirements effectively;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Understanding and implementation RBA;

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy;

Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Working hours:

The working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with one hour lunch break (office-based position, not remote).
