Marketing & Communications Officer (VAC-A3027)

Job description

Our client is a leader in the Travel Services & Aviation industry in Larnaca and they are looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer who will deal with a wide range of activities including events, media, promotions and corporate communication. The Marketing & Communications Officer will be part of the marketing and communications team and will report to the Director of Development, Marketing & Communications.

Job Duties

• Being one of the first points of contact for media handling requests and liaising with the external communications advisor on how to promote and advance the company’s interests in the media and general public sphere of influence
  
  Media monitoring on a daily basis with a view to filter news related to the company and suggest relevant actions
  
  Create and handle landing pages for the promotion of various projects that the company undertakes(e.g. company news, sense of place, lemonade project etc.)
  
  Producing materials for the Company’s magazine and liaising with the editor and other internal and external parties for proposed content
  
  Upload articles of the magazine at the company’s website and oversee proper distribution of the magazine at the company and externally
  
  Suggesting ideas to enhance the Company’s image through online presence
  
  Assisting in the planning and coordination of events and liaising with external suppliers and associates as well supporting the internal team for implementation
  
  Take photos and videos and edit them to support events or other ad hoc activities and liaise with external suppliers
  
  Suggesting material for the monthly newsletter, ACI daily, Routes profile and preparing written material such as Press releases, speeches, interviews, articles and any other material as required
  
  Providing support in the implementation of corporate communications and other departmental initiatives (i.e. sustainability report)
  
  
  

Job Requirements

BSc in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Media, Literature or any other related field

Master’s degree in business or any other related field will be considered an advantage

Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Marketing & Communications

Very good knowledge of Greek and English languages (verbal and writing)

Very good knowledge of MS Office (Power Point, Excel) and Canva, Photoshop and video editing

Job Benefits

The company is offering a salary dependent on skills and experience

Working hours:

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:30 until 17:00 with 30’ break. In case you work 30’ extra, then the hours are 08:00 – 17:00 OR 08:30 – 17:30.

There is a flexible working policy that the person can cover an extra 30’ on the 4 days out of 5 and select one day to finish at 14:00 OR select up to two times a week to work from home. This is always in agreement with the Manager and the workload.
