Job description
The Treasury Associate will be responsible for incoming and outgoing bank payments, payments and documents record-keeping and other money-related activities. The successful candidate will be in charge for executing payments and preparing required reports, and should have a strong understanding of finance, treasury, banking and payments.
Job Duties
- Execution of payments of number of group companies by bank transfer.
Communicating and resolving issues with banks and payment providers.
Ongoing maintenance of existing accounts, including AML reviews, payment documentation and payment issues. Collecting information and preparing responses to compliance requests of the banks.
Liaising internally with other departments for matters relating to payments.
Opening new bank accounts for the group companies.
Daily record-keeping of payments in management accounting registers.
Collecting and saving invoices, agreements and other payments related supporting documents.
Preparing regular and ad-hoc management reports and cash flow forecasts.
Supporting other payments-related activities and projects of the Group.
Any ad-hoc tasks or reports as per management’s request.
General assistance to the accounting department as per the ongoing requirements.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting and Finance, Banking, Mathematics or any other related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a Treasury and/or Accounting position with payments functionality and communication with banks/payment providers
- Proficient in Excel
- Comfortable with Technology and multiple software/platforms
- Excellent command of the English and the Russian language
- Knowledge of the Greek language is beneficial
- Ability to work fast in multitasking environment
- Attention to detail
- Proactive work approach, i.e. problem solving, finding better ways to complete tasks.
