Our client, a service provider to the Financial Services sector in Limassol, is looking to hire a Payment Officer. The successful candidate will have previous experience in processing high-volume transactions and a strong knowledge of Excel. Job Duties

  • Processing operational payments for various companies.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all processed payments.
  • Communicate with banking institutions regarding payment issues and provide requested supporting documents.
  • Liaise with other departments to investigate discrepancies.
  • Prepare various daily/weekly/monthly reports related to client funds and balances.
  • Compare fees between banks and PSPs.
  • Monitor the accuracy of fund settlements, schedule setups, and track settlements.
  • Ensure correct charging of bank fees according to agreements.
  • Constantly monitor cash flows in each bank account in multiple currencies.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and update daily payment reports.
  • Prepare multiple financial reports as requested by management.

Job Requirements

  • Experience as a Payment officer (experience with banks and payment systems, particularly with high-volume transaction processing) is a must.
  • Experience in the forex/ online payment services industry is a must.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.

Working hours:

The working hours are 9am – 6pm (onsite role)
